Lawnguard has been created by Stuart Campbell a seasoned professional deeply rooted in the world of golf course management. Holding a Diploma in Turf Management and being accredited as a Certified Sports Turf Manager (CSTM) by the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association (ASTMA), Stuart has become a renowned Superintendent with over 30 years’ experience in the trade. He has spent years meticulously tending to the greens, fairways, and landscapes that define the course’s beauty and playability.
Originally hailing from the South East suburbs of Victoria, Australia, his passion for golf and turf management blossomed at a young age. Being involved in many sports growing up, led to him working on golf courses on Victoria’s renowned Sand Belt where Stuart developed a profound appreciation for the natural beauty and challenges of golf course maintenance.
Stuart has called the Sunshine Coast home for the past 17 years and his journey in the golf industry has been one of continual growth and innovation. After honing his skills through education and hands-on experience, he found himself at the helm of one of the most prolific golf course management teams here on the Sunshine Coast. In this role, he has demonstrated a keen eye for detail, a knack for problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to excellence where he was crowned as Superintendent of the year in 2021.
While overseeing the maintenance of this local pristine course remains a top priority, his entrepreneurial spirit has led him to explore new opportunities in the field. Drawing on his expertise in turf management and pest control, Stuart has launched Lawnguard, a specialized lawn spraying business dedicated to helping homeowners and local sporting complexes achieve lush, healthy lawns.
